$800,000 Settlement – City and County of San Francisco – Sexual Harassment, Retaliation, Wrongful Termination

On March 22, 2019, the firm filed a lawsuit against the City and County of San Francisco in California Superior Court, San Francisco County, CGC-19-574719.

Allegations: Over a three-year period, our client’s supervisor made sexual comments about our client and her teenage daughter. She reported him but the SFMTA Director of Transportation summarily dismissed her claims. Our client appealed. Meanwhile, her supervisor continued to stare her down in an intensely sexual manner. For years, despite overwhelming evidence and witness corroboration, the City dismissed and ignored our client’s ongoing reports of harassment. 

Result: $800,000 settlement
